Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the latest (and perhaps most revolutionary) release in the monster-catching series, is available now on the Nintendo Switch, bringing with it a new take on the franchise that doesn’t only explore the origins of a lot of Pokémon lore but also changes the gameplay formula to offer a more open-world adventure.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus has proven to be a hit with critics so far, with it currently sitting at a score of 86 on Metacritic.
VGC gave it full marks, stating that: “Pokémon Legends is the breath of fresh air the series has needed for so long. It may not have been apparent from the trailers, but this is one of the most entertaining, engaging and engrossing games in the entire history of the Pokémon series, and is highly recommended to both long-time fans and complete newcomers.”
