Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, the Ninja Games-developed spin-off set in the universe of the first Final Fantasy game, releases on PC and consoles this week, bringing with it a third-person adventure that focuses more on action than traditional turn-based battling. Whilst the initial reveal for the game did leave some fans a little sceptical, the multiple demos that have released since as well as later trailers have done MORE than enough to convince me that the game is worth checking out.

Features action gameplay where you use a wide variety of action moves to survive furious battles and scatter your foes before you, as well as RPG elements collecting numerous different jobs and weapons to customise and develop your characters. The game can be enjoyed at several difficulty levels.
